Invited by a mate to see a film he recommended as really shocking / lot's of horror, a 'real classic', would i like it? probably not / once i rented out a film called 'irreversible', had a long and 'real time' rape scene / made me angry for a long time / couldn't help the way i felt / why do people make these films? / to entertain or to distress? / and how far will they go? / well now i fucking know / cos the film i went to see was like a documentary / on child pornography / and it was called the peds.../ fly on the wall documentary, recording the 'facts' / kidnapping children, groom and abuse, cameraman careful not to reveal the face's of the men- the face's of 'the peds' / none of it real but it looked fucking real / actors consented so it's all ok / it's ok? it's ok?? / four year old boy with a dick in his mouth / but the dick wasn't real and the face didn't care / it's all ok mum and dad are over there / just the latest film in his acting career / six year old girl and they're pulling her hair / but the hair was a wig and the skin not really bare / they airbrushed the body and lowered the glare of the studio lighting, took care not to stare / don't stare...don't stare.../ i got popcorn stuck in my throat / i wan't to kill who wrote the peds / fucking sick world want everyone dead

what did more harm, the alcohol or the beating? / at some hardcore show's it's like a fucking nazi meeting / extreme left extreme right it's all the fucking same / got a blinkered ideology, achieve their goals by force and pain / it's easy to belong to this fucking tribal warfare / but standing on your own feet with your own mind is much harder / who have eyes to see, and who have ears to hear / let them witness all first hand and start their judgements here / what did more harm, the alcohol or the beating / at some hardcore shows it's like a fundamentalist meeting / i can firmly understand the straight edge reasoning / and abstaining from drugs is a good thing to be achieving / but straight edge to me is about self control / and not behaving like a fucking arsehole / so whether violence straight, or whether violence pissed / aint no long term benefit in ruling with the fist
